About me
I believe good nutrition should be simple and sustainable. As my approach is non-restrictive, I won't give you meal plans or dictate what you have to eat. There'll be no wagons to fall off. I listen to you and observe your body's signs and then give you the tools to put you in charge of your health so that you feel empowered to make your own decisions.

I grew up in the Middle East and studied Arabic at the University of Edinburgh before my family moved to a farm in Devon. I had always been interested in food and health, but this is when I became fascinated with how food is grown and the idea that health is not just linked to what we eat, but what our food eats too. This means the way we farm and treat the soil impacts the soil health, which affects the nutritional value of the food we eat, resulting in a knock-on effect on our health. This also applies to meat and dairy - for instance, cows which have been pasture-raised, living outside and grazing on a range of plants, will have a very different nutritional profile to cows which have lived inside and just been fed on grains. This has a significant impact on our own health. Everything is connected!

For years, I struggled with acne and always wanted to know why my skin was so bad. Despite seeing doctors, acupuncturists, homeopaths and trying every 'miracle' skincare product out there, nothing changed. I decided to study naturopathic nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London so I could take matters into my own hands. The more I learnt, the more I understood my body. I loved experimenting on myself and this is how I discovered I have PCOS, the cause of my acne. Now that I understand the cause of my symptoms, I have been able to make small changes which have improved my skin, helped me lose weight and regulated my periods.

I love to investigate and I want to use my knowledge to get to the bottom of your medical mysteries, so that you can better understand yourself and live more freely. Let me be your personal detective!
About naturopathic nutrition
Naturopathic nutritional therapy is a complementary therapy, which means it works brilliantly alongside more mainstream medicine. This means I may refer you to your GP if I think this is necessary, or to other practitioners you could benefit from. Together with using evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine, I draw on traditional practises like herbal medicine, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as both functional tests, like stool tests, and conventional blood tests. I love data and I take a combined, truly holistic approach.

As a naturopathic nutritional therapist, I look at the body as a whole, rather than as individual systems which function independently from one another. I want to understand the root causes of your symptoms so we can address them from a long-term perspective, rather than just treating individual symptoms without understanding the causes.

I work with people who have diagnosed medical conditions, people who don't feel their best but aren't sure why, and people who just want to optimise their health. Please note, I can support you in feeling better, but I cannot make diagnoses. Nutritional therapy is not a replacement for medical advice, which is why referrals to your GP are sometimes necessary.
